The first hole we dug hit the water table, so changes had to be made to the design.
We decided to move the anchor forward and not go as deep with the next hole. This way, we'd avoid the water table. We dug the hole and put a shallow layer of gravel inside it as well. and increase the size of the ramp above it so that it
Unfortunately the gravel was for naught, as that night rain fell and filled the bottom of the hole with mud. We spent some time digging it out as best we could prior to moving forward with the pouring.
